From 28 to 31 August, the challenging terrain of Poland’s West Pomeranian region will once again welcome Europe’s leading cross-country rally teams — including car, quad and motorcycle competitors — for the 17th edition of Columna Medica Baja Poland. As in previous years, the event will form a round of the FIA European Cup for Cross-Country Bajas.
Based in Szczecin at the multifunctional Netto Arena, the rally route totals 637.14 km, of which 350.7 km is competitive distance across five special stages. The itinerary features a 9-kilometre prologue, two demanding 144.6-kilometre stages on the Drawsko Pomorskie Military Training Ground, and two Sunday stages of 30.75 km each.

INTERNATIONAL STATUS AND A STRONG FIELD OF ENTRANTS
In 2025, Columna Medica Baja Poland is part of an impressive eleven series. Most notably, it serves as Round 7 of 9 in the FIA European Cup for Cross-Country Bajas. It also features in the:
- FIA Central European Zone (CEZ) Championship – Round 5
- Polish Cross-Country Championship (RMPST) – Round 5
- Czech Cross-Country Championship (MMCR) – Round 3
- Polish Cross-Country Cup (PCC) – Round 5
The event also includes the 4th round of the Can-Am Baja Promo, a series developed by the Baja Poland Foundationto allow amateur, non-licensed drivers to compete in professionally secured, fully organized events.
For motorcycle and quad riders, Columna Medica Baja Poland is also a key date: Round 5 of the Polish Baja Rally Championship (MPRB) and the Polish Baja Rally Cup (PPRB) will be contested on the same stages. In addition, amateur participants in the Baja Promo ATV and Can-Am Cross Country series — both designed for amateur riders — are invited to take part.

NETTO ARENA AT THE HEART OF THE ACTION
The rally is once again centred around Szczecin’s Netto Arena, where the ceremonial start, finish celebrations, and press conference will all take place. Nearby, the service park will be open to fans, offering a rare behind-the-scenes look at rally crews in action and the chance to meet competitors up close.

A VARIED FIELD AND BIG NAMES
The official entry list will be revealed on Monday, 25 August. As ever, spectators can expect to see many of the sport’s leading names. Record holder Krzysztof Hołowczyc — a nine-time winner of Baja Poland — is set to return alongside co-driver Łukasz Kurzeja.
FIA European Cup leaders Bartłomiej Wajzer and Ernest Górecki, after six rounds, are also expected to start, along with well-known competitors such as Michał Małuszyński, Benediktas Vanagas, Martin Kaczmarski and Włodzimierz Grajek, all fielding powerful T1 or T1+ class machinery.
The field will include a broad spectrum of vehicles: T1/T1+ prototypes, production-based T2 cars, SSVs such as the Can-Am Maverick, large rally trucks, quads, motorcycles, and unique custom-built off-road machines.

THREE DAYS OF COMPETITION AND ATTRACTIONS
Action begins on Friday, 29 August with the shakedown stage, running from 09:00 to 13:00 on a route northwest of Szczecin with the finish in Wołczkowo. This is the final opportunity for crews to test their equipment before the competitive stages begin.
The 9-kilometre prologue kicks off the timed action from 16:45. Located near the service park, this stage features a spectacular jump that thrilled spectators in 2024 and is set to return. The ceremonial start will follow at 19:30 at Netto Arena, with a press conference and start order draw for priority crews.
Saturday, 30 August is the rally’s longest day, taking place on the expansive Drawsko Military Training Ground. Two runs of a 144.6 km special stage are planned — at 09:00 and 13:30 — separated by a 45-minute remote service break.
On Sunday, 31 August, the action returns to the Szczecin region. Two passes of a 30.75 km stage northwest of the city between Sławoszewo and Wołczkowo will be contested at 09:10 and 12:10. The winners will be crowned at the finish ceremony at 14:00 at Netto Arena.
Spectator access to all special stages and the service park is free of charge.
